About Us
Pentecostal Fellowship Churches and College of Ministries Regd. was started in 1988 to pioneer and plant Churches in places where Christ was not heard. Since then we are steadfastly continuing in the mission of God in the land of INDIA. The work started under the leadership of Bishop Dr. A.G.Thankachan, the Presiding Bishop and his wife the Senior Pastor Glory Thankachan along with two brothers in 1988.
We are in six states [linguistic regions] of India now, reaching the people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, building churches with people, Training indigenous ministers in Biblical-mission for pioneering and church planting, educating the children in Christian environment through our High schools, providing skills through our Regional Technical College, sharing the love of Jesus in action through our Home for children, and Home for the destitute and poor. Our vision is not limited to India, we are reaching Asia through our weekly Television Program.
Mass Crusades, Seminars, Women-Youth and Children oriented ministries along with involvement in charitable activities in nation building as and when the time demands, makes us very relevant in the sub-continent INDIA. This is India’s time; this is our time to reach 1.35 billion Indians in giving JESUS CHRIST.

Recognizing the divine call, Bishop Dr. A.G. Thankachan left secular employment and went to a seminary for Bible Ministerial training and completed Bachelor of Theology, and Bachelor of Arts Degrees and entered into the ministry in January 1981. After ministering in Southern most State/province Kerala of India for two years in Bible Teaching, pioneering and Church planting shifted to the State of Andhra Pradesh in 1982 December with Glory Thankachan, Teaching in the Post Graduate school of a Seminary, traveling extensively in India ministering the word of God, continued the studies and completed Master of Arts and Masters in Theology. In 1987 completed Ph.D. in Religious Philosophy.
With clear vision and direction from God, established Pentecostal Fellowship Churches and College of Ministries in 1988. The work expanded into different states of India and, according to the need, established New Covenant Ministries and Welfare Society as the charitable arm of the ministry and St.Thomas Trust as the educational arm of the Ministry. In 2006 established the Council of Charismatic Ministries [India] for building unity in the body of Christ among other missions and Ministries in India.
